About Us
Boyne Boat Yard is a full-service marine yard on the Van Dam campus in Boyne City, Michigan. We work on a wide range of recreational boats—everything from wooden boats, including Van Dam power and sailboats, to 55’ sport yachts and cruisers. We have a passion for all things boating, and we love solving highly technical and challenging problems. Our mission is to provide reliable, honest, and highly technical marine service for our customers, and we aim to be the best in northern Michigan. We are a technician’s yard, we love the details and we actively support development and training. Access to Van Dam Custom Boats world-renowned wood shop, machine shop, paint shop and design office means that there is no project too complicated for our team.
