Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies
- Follow company’s safety guidelines
- Making and delivering the tow
- Checking the fleet (lines, cables, hatches, and water)
- Retrieving and placing lanterns
- Performing pre-operational checks
- Cleaning the vessel
- General maintenance of pumps/hoses, wires, and lanterns
- Perform general repairs as needed
- Follow directions
- Be able to visually inspect
- Work around operating equipment
- Utilize eye/hand coordination
- Use/knowledge of hand tools
- Work well in a team environment
- Operate machinery
- Make decisions in high pressure situation, safely
Experience
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Effective communication is required
- Work Safely
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), required
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicant’s religious practices)
- Must be able to work 7 days a week with 12-hour shifts (6 hours on/6 hours off); (subject to the applicant’s religious practices)
- Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned
- Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
- Ability to push/pull as needed
- Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
- Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
