Our client in the boating industry is looking for a Marine Service Manager to add to their team near Newport, Rhode Island. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll oversee maintenance and customer service needs, ensuring timely project delivery. You'll create estimates, secure customer approval, and manage service projects. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented candidate with strong customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities
· Identify maintenance and customer service needs
· Produce service estimates
· Schedule resources and delivery within budget
· Inspect and ensure product quality before delivery
· Manage service jobs and obtain customer approval for scope change
· Act as customer-company liaison
· Handle customer invoicing and tracking
· Travel off-site for boat inspection and estimates
Qualifications
· 2+ years of marine industry experience required
· 1+ years of customer service experience required
· 1+ years of estimating boat repairs, hours, and costs experience required
· Strong knowledge of power and sailboat terminology required
· Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required
