Job duties will include assisting potential new clients through the sales process as well as following through on all other details of the event once booked. Through a combination of telephone conversations, internet communication and custom electronic proposals, Charter Agents should have the ability to develop rapport with clients and maintain strong working relationships, while ensuring that the customer receives superior service.
Charter Agents are expected to greet clients during the boarding of their charter at local (Miami / Fort Lauderdale area) dock locations. The working environment is that of a high-energy, fast-paced, small-business office.
Requirements & Previous Experience
A previous background in the travel and/ or event planning industries including sales and customer service duties can be beneficial as well as a familiarity of the local area.
Intermediate computer skills including proficient use of word processing and spreadsheet software are necessary. Software used includes Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ACT.
Also excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English, are required.
