With a plethora of qualifications, including a National Diploma in Hospitality Management, a Professional Chef Diploma and a Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking, as well as a wealth of experience within the hospitality industry, I am an astute and talented Chef with experience gained from establishments across Africa. I provide exceptional knowledge and expertise in managing operations, implementing strategies, streamlining and reducing operating costs and delivering exceptional standards in customer service.
I am a self-starter with experience in top-end establishments, where I have gained insight into creating menus and dishes that delight guests. I am a highly efficient, energetic and effective individual with a competitive drive and demonstrated skills as a host and as a Chef. My strengths lie in my diversity of roles, which has enabled me to develop impeccable interpersonal skills and the ability to manage in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings. I am a strong leader, offering the ability to understand people and excel in empowering and building capabilities in staff.
Throughout my time spent within the industry I have gained cultural affinity due to exposure to cross-cultural clientele and employees within the marketplace. I have completed an STCW, which provides me with the competency to legally operate on any vessel at sea.
